Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work A Capriccio Of Classical Ruins With Figures Conversing On A Path In The Foreground by Apollonio Domenichini. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,049.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Apollonio Domenichini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 265,833.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Capriccio Of Classical Ruins With Figures Conversing On A Path In The Foreground von Apollonio Domenichini zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.049,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Apollonio Domenichini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice, A View Of Piazza San Marco With The Basilica; Venice, A View From The Giudecca Facing East With The Churches Of The Redentore And The Chiesa Delle Zitelle im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 265.833,98).
