Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Apelles Fenosa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2017. In the Paris Atelier du Monde auction, the work Coeur - 1962 sold for EUR 3,380.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Apelles Fenosa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot (i) Untitled (bird) sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of EUR 6,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Apelles Fenosa erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paris Atelier du Monde wurde die Arbeit Coeur - 1962 für EUR 3.380,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Apelles Fenosa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit (i) Untitled (bird) im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.000,00.
