Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Seated woman) by Anupam Sud was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,100 (€ 6,000) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as GBP 4,000 - 6,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anupam Sud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 10,000 (€ 12,720).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Seated woman) von Anupam Sud kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100 (€ 6.000) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000 – 6.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anupam Sud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 10.000 (€ 12.720) versteigert wurde.
