Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Hollywood Pix by Antony Donaldson for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,199.24). This price was achieved in the auction Modern British Art Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Antony Donaldson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Record in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 156,017.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hollywood Pix von Antony Donaldson für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.199,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antony Donaldson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Record im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.000,00 (€ 156.017,44).
