Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sacra Famiglia by Antonio Zanchi was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2002. The price achieved of EUR 17,980.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Zanchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Allegory of Time in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 93,064.95).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.980,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
