Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Rocce ed alberi by Antonio Varni. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,240.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Antonio Varni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work La contadinella was auctioned for EUR 1,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rocce ed alberi von Antonio Varni zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.240,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Antonio Varni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit La contadinella für EUR 1.800,00 versteigert.
