Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,283.73). Admittedly, works by Antonio Rivas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish In The Harem in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 58,641.21).

Die Arbeit In The Harem von Antonio Rivas wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
