Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Dream Serenade 29 x 46 in. (73.5 x 116.5 cm) framed 34 x 51 3/4 x 2 in. by Antonio Rivas for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,931.84). This price was achieved in the auction European Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Rivas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish In The Harem in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 58,641.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dream Serenade 29 x 46 in. (73.5 x 116.5 cm) framed 34 x 51 3/4 x 2 in. von Antonio Rivas für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.931,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.500,00 – 5.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Rivas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish In The Harem im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.100,00 (€ 58.641,21).
