Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sans titre by Antonio Recalcati was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 3,750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Recalcati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Boheme De Chirico, Place D'Italie, 1973, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 14,870.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sans titre von Antonio Recalcati im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Recalcati mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Boheme De Chirico, Place D'Italie, 1973 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 14.870,00 versteigert wurde.
