Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Gondola With Figures On A Venetian Backwater; And Figures A Gondola On A Venetian Backwater by Antonio María de Reyna Manescau. The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,848.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio María de Reyna Manescau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chiesa del Redentore; and Il ponte di Rialto, Venezia in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 54,523.77).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.848,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio María de Reyna Manescau erzielen.
