In the British and European Art auction, the work Views Of The Cannaregio Canal, Venice, A Pair Each 33.7 X 74.6Cm (13 1/4 X 29 3/8In) sold for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,505.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio María de Reyna Manescau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Chiesa del Redentore; and Il ponte di Rialto, Venezia, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 35,250.00 (€ 54,523.77).
