Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antonio Mancini could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Sorriso changed hands for EUR 18,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 22,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Mancini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of W.B. Yeats in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,632.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Mancini konnte im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Sorriso für EUR 18.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 22.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Mancini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of W.B. Yeats im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 127.632,69).
