In July 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection, which included the work Four Head Studies by Antonio Mancini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,941.08), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Mancini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of W.B. Yeats in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,632.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Including drawings from the Oppé Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Head Studies von Antonio Mancini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.941,08) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Mancini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of W.B. Yeats im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 127.632,69).
