Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Architectural Capriccio With Figures, Possibly Jephthah And His Daughter by Antonio Joli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 24,375.00 (€ 28,962.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Joli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Capriccio With The French Ambassador Approaching The King Of Siam’S Palace In A State Barge, In October 1685, Featuring The White Porcelain Pagoda, From Nanjing, China, On The Left in October last year with an auction result of USD 3,300,000.00 (€ 3,321,924.70).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Capriccio With The French Ambassador Approaching The King Of Siam’S Palace In A State Barge, In October 1685, Featuring The White Porcelain Pagoda, From Nanjing, China, On The Left im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.300.000,00 (€ 3.321.924,70).
