In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work The Death Of Sapphira sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,762.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Gionima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Esther Obtains The Punishment Of Haman From King Ahasuerus in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,393.14).
