Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Il portale sacro del santuario di Hakone by Antonio Fontanesi for EUR 500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Fontanesi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Capanna: A woodland hut in January 2009 with an auction result of GBP 67,250.00 (€ 75,700.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Il portale sacro del santuario di Hakone von Antonio Fontanesi für EUR 500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Fontanesi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Capanna: A woodland hut im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.250,00 (€ 75.700,89).
