Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Scorcio con cascina e figure by Antonio Discovolo. The price achieved of EUR 2,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Discovolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mattino A Bonassola in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 18,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scorcio con cascina e figure von Antonio Discovolo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Discovolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mattino A Bonassola im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.600,00.
