Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Processione in S.Damiano. Assisi by Antonio Discovolo for EUR 3,300.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,500.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Antonio Discovolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mattino A Bonassola in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 18,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Processione in S.Damiano. Assisi von Antonio Discovolo für EUR 3.300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.500,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Discovolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mattino A Bonassola im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.600,00.
