The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,182.64), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Antonio da Trento; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nude Man seen from behind (Narcissus) sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,649.13).
