Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Antonio Allegri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,625,250.00 (€ 4,160,516.72), 21% above the upper estimate. Other works by Antonio Allegri have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 5,319,600.00 (€ 4,744,559.40) in January last year for the work Saint Mary Magdalen reading.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Antonio Allegri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.625.250,00 (€ 4.160.516,72) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Antonio Allegri haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.319.600,00 (€ 4.744.559,40) im Januar letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Saint Mary Magdalen reading beobachtet.
