Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction European & British Art, which included the work The Dogana, Venice by Antonietta Brandeis. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,029.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonietta Brandeis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venice: A View of the Piazza San Marco in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 441,000.00 (€ 363,411.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European & British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Dogana, Venice von Antonietta Brandeis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.029,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonietta Brandeis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venice: A View of the Piazza San Marco im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 441.000,00 (€ 363.411,62).
