A top price for Anton Van Wouw
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work The Hammer Worker by Anton Van Wouw. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 200,250.00 (€ 235,242.17). With this result, The Hammer Worker is even the most expensive work of art by Anton Van Wouw that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Anton Van Wouw
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hammer Worker von Anton Van Wouw zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 200.250,00 (€ 235.242,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Hammer Worker sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anton Van Wouw, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
