Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anton Mirou could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings Day Sale auction, the work An Extensive Landscape With Villagers In The Foreground changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,091.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Mirou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape with a view of Bad Schwalbach in the Taunus in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,820.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anton Mirou konnte im Juli 2009 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit An Extensive Landscape With Villagers In The Foreground für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.091,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Mirou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape with a view of Bad Schwalbach in the Taunus im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.820,84).
