In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Posters, which included the work BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN 1905 by Anton Lavinksy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 45,000.00 (€ 63,449.44), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN 1905 the most expensive artwork by Anton Lavinksy that we have observed at auctions so far.
