Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers in a glass vase and an arrangement of fruit by Anton Hartinger was sold in the 19th Century and British Impressionist Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,055.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Hartinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, morning glory, an iris and other flowers in a sculpted urn with grapes and a pomegranate on a partly-draped ledge in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 171,650.00 (€ 273,788.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers in a glass vase and an arrangement of fruit von Anton Hartinger wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.055,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Hartinger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses, morning glory, an iris and other flowers in a sculpted urn with grapes and a pomegranate on a partly-draped ledge im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 171.650,00 (€ 273.788,41).
