A top price for Anton Friedrich König - as previously expected
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Part I, which included the work Portrait Of Crown Princess Friederike Luise Of Prussia (1751-1805), Circa 1775 by Anton Friedrich König. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,444.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait Of Crown Princess Friederike Luise Of Prussia (1751-1805), Circa 1775 is the most expensive artwork by Anton Friedrich König that we have observed at auctions so far.
