In the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As The Sister Of Generalin Von Duhan, Circa 1760 sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,764.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anton Friedrich König; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of Crown Princess Friederike Luise Of Prussia (1751-1805), Circa 1775 sold at auction in December 2018 with the realized price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,444.58).
