Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Study for “Hornfiskefangst med drivvod Tidlig morgen.” by Anton Dorph for DKK 6,000.00 (€ 803.94). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anton Dorph have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Parti i et Fiskerleie ved Øresund” in June this year with an auction result of DKK 28,000.00 (€ 3,758.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study for “Hornfiskefangst med drivvod Tidlig morgen.” von Anton Dorph für DKK 6.000,00 (€ 803,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Dorph auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Parti i et Fiskerleie ved Øresund” im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 28.000,00 (€ 3.758,97).
