This work without title by Antoine Poncet was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2012. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,597.65), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Poncet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fugue-Fougue in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 122,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Antoine Poncet wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.597,65) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Poncet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fugue-Fougue im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.500,00.
