This artwork by Antoine Poncet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013. In the The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection auction, the work Petite Torsade Oiseau Lunaire sold for EUR 4,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Poncet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fugue-Fougue in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 122,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Poncet erzielte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection wurde die Arbeit Petite Torsade Oiseau Lunaire für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Poncet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fugue-Fougue im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 122.500,00.
