Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2001 Christies in London held the auction British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings, which included the work A farm at Berlikoom in Flanders by Antoine Pierre Mongin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 350.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 376.00 (€ 607.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Pierre Mongin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A bather in a landscape in January this year with an auction result of USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,850.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion British And Continental Watercolours And Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A farm at Berlikoom in Flanders von Antoine Pierre Mongin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 350,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 376,00 (€ 607,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Pierre Mongin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A bather in a landscape im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 27.850,43).
