Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Still Life Of Peonies, Carnations, Poppies And Other Flowers In A Bronze Urn On A Stone Ledge; And Still Life Of Chrysanthemums, Jasmine, Lilies And Carnations In A Wicker Basket On A Stone Ledge by Antoine Monnoyer. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,547.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antoine Monnoyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, Roses, Carnations, Anemone, Lilac And Orange Blossom In A Glass Urn With A Spray of Roses On A Stone Ledge; And Tulips, Anemone, Roses And Other Flowers In A Glass Urn With Roses And Morning Glory On A Stone Ledge in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 123,574.14).

Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Peonies, Carnations, Poppies And Other Flowers In A Bronze Urn On A Stone Ledge; And Still Life Of Chrysanthemums, Jasmine, Lilies And Carnations In A Wicker Basket On A Stone Ledge von Antoine Monnoyer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.547,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
