In December this year Artcurial held the auction A Moroccan Winter, which included the work Famille auprès du feu by Antoine Gadan. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 47,232.00 (€ 4,320.99), 57% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Gadan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La moisson, which sold at auction in December 2011 for EUR 14,026.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion A Moroccan Winter durch, in der auch die Arbeit Famille auprès du feu von Antoine Gadan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 47.232,00 (€ 4.320,99) und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Gadan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La moisson beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für EUR 14.026,00 versteigert wurde.
