Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El-Kantara by Antoine Gadan was auctioned at Artcurial in May 2016. The price achieved of EUR 5,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antoine Gadan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La moisson, which sold at auction in December 2011 for EUR 14,026.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El-Kantara von Antoine Gadan kam im Mai 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Antoine Gadan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La moisson beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für EUR 14.026,00 versteigert wurde.
