Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antoine Coypel could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century European Art auction, the work Madonna And Child changed hands for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,442.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Coypel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegory Of Music (A Portrait Of Mme. De Maintenon With The Natural Children Of Louis Xiv) in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,386,182.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antoine Coypel konnte im Juni 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Madonna And Child für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.442,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
