In April 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Spanisharabe En Prière by Antoine Bofill. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,854.46), 19% above the upper estimate. With this result, Spanisharabe En Prière is even the most expensive work of art by Antoine Bofill that we have observed at auctions so far.
