Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Figures skating and riding in carriages, on a frozen lake with a tent and a town in the distance by Anthonie Verstraelen for USD 94,500.00 (€ 89,420.89). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Ann & Gordon Getty: Wheatland at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Verstraelen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter Landscape With Figures Skating On A Frozen River Beside A Village in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 552,306.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figures skating and riding in carriages, on a frozen lake with a tent and a town in the distance von Anthonie Verstraelen für USD 94.500,00 (€ 89.420,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Ann & Gordon Getty: Wheatland bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00.
