Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Jean-Paul Sartre In Lithuania', Nida, 1965 by Antanas Sutkus. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,659.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Antanas Sutkus have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2013 the work J. P. Sartre In Lithuania was auctioned for GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,462.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Jean-Paul Sartre In Lithuania', Nida, 1965 von Antanas Sutkus zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.659,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Antanas Sutkus konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2013 die Arbeit J. P. Sartre In Lithuania für GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.462,05) versteigert.
