Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antanas Sutkus could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "J.P Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in Lithuania, Nida, 1965". changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,677.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antanas Sutkus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work J. P. Sartre In Lithuania, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,462.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antanas Sutkus konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "J.P Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir in Lithuania, Nida, 1965". für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.677,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antanas Sutkus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit J. P. Sartre In Lithuania beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.462,05) versteigert wurde.
