Upper estimate price exceeded by 44 %.
In July 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art, which included the work Christ En Croix, Circa 1966-1967 by Anselme Boix-Vives. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,604.00 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anselme Boix-Vives - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fleurs de montagne et son faisan doré, which sold at auction in May 2016 for EUR 11,875.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christ En Croix, Circa 1966-1967 von Anselme Boix-Vives zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.604,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Anselme Boix-Vives mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fleurs de montagne et son faisan doré beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
