Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Bruce Springsteen' by Annie Leibovitz for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,397.32). This price was achieved in the auction Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Leibovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keith Haring, New York City in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Bruce Springsteen' von Annie Leibovitz für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.397,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie Leibovitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Keith Haring, New York City im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 81.942,14).
