This artwork by Annie Cabigting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work An Afternoon with Rothko sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 20,995.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Annie Cabigting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Conditions of the Feminine in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 159,474.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Annie Cabigting erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit An Afternoon with Rothko für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 20.995,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Annie Cabigting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Conditions of the Feminine im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 159.474,54).
