Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Annibale Scaroni could be acquired at Il Ponte in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Cleopatra changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Annibale Scaroni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La veste orientale in June this year with an auction result of EUR 3,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Annibale Scaroni konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Cleopatra für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Annibale Scaroni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La veste orientale im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.800,00.
