Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 137,582.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Vallayer-Coster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature morte au vase d’albâtre rempli de fleurs avec sur une table plusieurs espèces de fruits, comme ananas, pêches et raisins in June this year with an auction result of EUR 2,581,000.00.
