Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Collection of Ambassador and Mrs. Felix Rohatyn, which included the work A Still Life Of Roses And Other Flowers In A Blue Vase With A Book by Anne Vallayer-Coster. The price achieved of USD 352,800.00 (€ 302,910.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anne Vallayer-Coster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte au vase d’albâtre rempli de fleurs avec sur une table plusieurs espèces de fruits, comme ananas, pêches et raisins in June this year with an auction result of EUR 2,581,000.00.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Collection of Ambassador and Mrs. Felix Rohatyn durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life Of Roses And Other Flowers In A Blue Vase With A Book von Anne Vallayer-Coster zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 302.910,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden.
