Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work A Still Life Of Mackerel, Glassware, A Loaf Of Bread And Lemons On A Table With A White Cloth by Anne Vallayer-Coster. It changed hands for a price of GBP 145,250.00 (€ 166,696.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Vallayer-Coster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature morte au vase d’albâtre rempli de fleurs avec sur une table plusieurs espèces de fruits, comme ananas, pêches et raisins in June this year with an auction result of EUR 2,581,000.00.

Im Juli 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life Of Mackerel, Glassware, A Loaf Of Bread And Lemons On A Table With A White Cloth von Anne Vallayer-Coster zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 145.250,00 (€ 166.696,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Vallayer-Coster erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature morte au vase d’albâtre rempli de fleurs avec sur une table plusieurs espèces de fruits, comme ananas, pêches et raisins im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.581.000,00.
