In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Maternité by Anne-Pierre de Kat. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,600.00 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Anne-Pierre de Kat have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 6,850.00 in December 2007 for the work Belgzicht Op Brussel Met De Koepel Van Het Justitie Paleis In De Verte.
