This price was achieved in the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anna Zinkeisen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Julia and Starkey sold at auction in September 2021 with the realized price of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,743.59).
