Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Rythme horisontal by Anna Staritsky was auctioned at Il Ponte in June 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,300.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Staritsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Play Of Textures in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 30,942.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Rythme horisontal von Anna Staritsky im Juni 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.300,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 900,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Staritsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Play Of Textures im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.510,00 (€ 30.942,02).
