In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work Play Of Textures by Anna Staritsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,510.00 (€ 30,942.02), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Play Of Textures is even the most expensive work of art by Anna Staritsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
